- 1 sheet (400 g) flaky pastry
- 150 g cheddar, grated
- 1 egg
- 15 ml milk
Preheat oven to 200 °C. Roll flaky pastry a bit thinner and put half the cheese on one half of pastry.
Fold over and roll thinly again. Repeat process until all the cheese is rolled into the pastry.
Cut shapes out of pastry and place them on baking tray lined with greased baking paper. Beat egg and milk together. Brush puffs with the milk mixture and bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Keep in an airtight container.
