Have you ever thought of mashing beans and adding them to your meatball mixture? It is delicious.
(10 medium meatballs)
- 200 g dried haricot beans
- 400 g mince
- 10 ml salt
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 10 ml ground coriander
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- sunflower oil for frying
Soak beans overnight. Put in a saucepan with water and bring to the boil. Let it cook until soft. Chop the beans in your food processor. Mix all the ingredients and shape into meatballs. Heat oil in a deep pan and brown on all sides until cooked. Serve with tomato sauce.
HINT: You can use tinned haricot beans. Drain and chop finely.
