Pork sausages with peas

30 minutes
(Serves 4)
- 30 ml olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 250 g streaky bacon, cubed
- 500 g small pork sausages
- 1 can (400 g) chopped tomatoes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 250 g young frozen peas
Heat olive oil in a deep pan. Sauté onion and garlic together until soft and translucent. Add bacon and sausages and cook until bacon is crisp and sausages almost done. Add tomatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add peas for about the last 5 minutes. Serve with toast of your choice.
