Body image is something I have always struggled with. Even when i was down to my lowest weight, I struggled to maintain it. So many people body shame. Someone may not want you because you’re too skinny, or you’re too fat, or because you have stretch marks, or tattoos, or piercings, or rolls, or whatever….. Surround yourself with those who’s preference is YOU. I am proud of my body. Proud of my stretch marks. Happy with my mommy boobs and tummy. Seriously comfortable in my skin and refuse to change my body for anyone but my self and my health. The exit is to your top left, have a good day. A photo posted by A. Ren (@actually_its_ashley) on
“My body may not be aesthetically pleasing but my soft tummy and breasts have been a place of comfort and consolation to my crying children more times than I can count and my stretch marks are my stripes that signify that I am a momma, first and always, and I think that is beautiful.” http://thehonestbodyproject.com/?p=330 A photo posted by The Honest Body Project (@thehonestbodyproject) on

Yeah, I have some extra pudge. Stretch marks trace my stomach and thighs. I have cellulite and my skin isn’t perfect. But I’M HUMAN Being human also means that sometimes I slip when it comes to consistency or motivation #LifeHappens When you’re committed to a bigger goal, setbacks happens, but they don’t have to hold you back Now I’m looking for humans to join me! Real women who are looking for real results, support, and motivation. Ladies who are ready to turn a setback into a comeback! Let’s do this together! A photo posted by Sierra Gannon (@sieisfierce) on
I can count on a couple fingers the amount of times I’ve ever posted a picture where even a little of my belly has showed. Even back when I had a flat stomach, i had some clear body image issues and refused to see myself as anything but ugly. This week, I heard this new trend called #dadbod and it made a lot of moms (including me) really fucking angry. Since the birth of my gorgeous baby, I’ve been told stretch marks, extra fat and loose skin were something to be ashamed of but now suddenly it was considered “cool” for men to have it even though they didn’t have the job of carrying a baby in their belly for 9 months. Needless to say, society can screw itself and I’m so done being ashamed of my kickass body that produced a miracle. #mombod #sickofbeingashamed A photo posted by @grrlfever on

#mombod #csection #nofilter
