Beef stirfry

(4 portions)

  1. 30 ml olive oil
  2. 8 minute steaks, cut into thin strips
  3. 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  4. 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
  5. 1 lemon, quartered
  6. 250 g noodles

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in a thick-bottomed pan or wok. Fry meat over high heat for about 1 minute. Add mushrooms and red pepper and fry until just soft. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the top, and season with salt and pepper. Cook noodles according to instructions on package. Mix with vegetables and meat and serve immediately.

HINT: Add about 40 ml soy sauce to the stirfry.
