Pasta with chorizo and peas

(Serves 4)

  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 4 chorizo sausages, sliced
  • 250 ml frozen peas
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 500 ml cream
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 x 500 g packs gnocchi

Heat olive oil in a pan. Fry sausage slices for about 5 minutes. Add frozen peas and garlic. Fry for another 5 minutes. Add cream and cook for about 10 minutes until slightly reduced and thickened. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook gnocchi according to instructions on pack and drain. Mix sauce through well. Serve with grated pecorino or parmesan.
