Steak sandwich

(Serves 4)

  • 4 minute steaks
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 30 ml Worcester sauce
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 tomatoes, each cut into 2 thick slices
  • 120 ml creamy mayonnaise
  • 20 ml wholegrain mustard
  • Salad leaves of your choice
  • 8 slices white bread of your choice, toasted

Put steaks in a bowl. Add olive oil, Worcester sauce and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper. Rub everything well into the steaks. Heat a griddle pan. Cook steaks for about 3 minutes to a side. Remove and keep warm to one side. Fry tomato slices for about 3 minutes to a side. Season with salt and black pepper. Combine mayonnaise and mustard. Put salad leaves on top of 4 slices of toast. Put a steak on top of each and coat with the mustard-mayonnaise mixture. Put two slices of tomato on top of each and cover with another piece of toast.
