Benodigdhede: 5(5; 6; 6) bolle van 50 g elk Elle Rustica Dubbeldraad (kleur Peat Brown); breipenne van 4 mm; 5 knope

Grootte: Pas borsmaat 82(87; 92; 97) cm. Rondommaat van mantel om skouers: 86(92;98;104) cm. Lengte tot skouer: 38(38;40;40) cm.

 

Spanning: 22 ste en 30 rye = 10 cm in koussteek met penne van 4 mm.

Riffelsteek patroon

Enkelrif: 1e ry: Met RK voor, r1, * aw1, r1, her van * tot end. 2e en elke vlg ry: Br ste soos dit voorkom(= r die r ste, en aw die aw ste).

Sierrifsteek: 1e ry: Met RK voor, r3* aw3, r3, her van * tot end. 2e en elke vlg ry: Br ste soos dit voorkom.

Koussteek (ks): 1e ry: Met RK voor, r alle ste. 2e ry: aw alle ste. Her die twee rye.

 Agterpant

H/aan 153(159; 171;177) ste met penne van 4 mm en br reguit in sierrif vir 10 cm, eindig met VK ry. Fats sye: Br in ks, vmin 1 st (= br 2 tes) aan weersk van elke vlg 4e ry, 10 keer, daarna aan weersk van elke vlg alt ry 19(19; 21;21) keer = 95(101; 109; 115) ste. Br reguit verder tot werk 38(38; 40; 40) cm lank is vanaf beg, eindig met ‘n VK ry.

Fats skouers: H/af 8(9; 10; 11) ste aan beg van vlg 4 rye, daarna 8(9; 11; 12) ste aan beg van vlg 2 rye = 47 ste. H/af oorbl ste vir halsopening agter.

 

Regter Voorpant

H/aan 30(33; 39; 42) ste met penne van 4 mm, br in ks en Fats syrand as volg: Vmin 1 st aan beg (= syrand) van elke vlg 4e ry, 10 keer, daarna aan beg van elke vlg alt ry 19(19; 21; 21) keer. Terselfdertyd, fats voorkant: Nadat ste aangeheg is, br 2 rye ks, eindig by voorrand. Met RK voor, h/aan 10 ste aan beg van vlg ry, 8 ste aan dies rand van vlg alt ry, 2 ste aan beg van elke vlg alt ry 5 keer, 1 st aan beg van elke vlg alt ry 6 keer, daarna 1 st aan beg van elke vlg 4e ry 3 keer. Wanneer voorste fats voltooi is, br in ks, hou voorrand reguit, maar hou aan met fats van syrande, totdat werk 25(25; 27; 27) cm lank is vanaf beg, eindig met ‘n VK ry.

Linker Voorpant

H/aan 30(33; 39; 42) ste met penne van 4 mm, br in ks en Fats syrand as volg: Vmin1 st aan einde (=syrand) van elke vlg 4e ry 10 keer, daarna aan einde en elke vlg alt ry 19(19; 21; 21) keer. Terselfdertyd, fats voorkant: Na aanhegting, br 1 ry ks, eindig dus by voorrand. Met VK voor, h/aan 10 ste aan beg van vlg ry, 8 ste aan dies rand van vlg alt ry, 2 ste aan beg van elke vlg alt ry 5 keer, 1 st aan beg van elke vlg alt ry 6 keer, daarna 1 st aan beg van elke vlg 4e ry 3 keer. Wanneer voorste fats voltooi is, br verder in ks, hou voorrand reguit, maar fats steeds sye en as werk 25(25; 27; 27) cm lank is vanaf beg, eindig met RK voor, br verder soos vir Regter voorpant van * tot end.

  

Epoulette (brei 2)

H/aan 13 ste met penne van 4 mm en br in enkelrif vir 8 cm, eindig met ‘n VK ry. Vlg ry (knoopsgat): Rif 5 ste, h/af 3 ste, rif 5 ste. Vlg ry: Rif, h/aan 3 ste oor knoopsgat en fats punt: vmin 1 st aan weersk van vlg en elke vlg alt ry 6 keer = 1 st, h/af.

 

Afwerking

Werk skouernate toe. Kraag: tel op en r 35 ste aan regter halsopening voor, 47 ste aan agter hals en 35 ste aan linker halsopening  voor = 117 ste. Br reguit in sierrif (beg met aw3) tot kraag 10 cm is, eindig met VK ry, h/af alle ste.

Regter Voorrandstrook: Met RK voor, neem penne van 4 mm en h/aan r122(128; 134; 134)ste eweredig rondom onderrand en voorrand, asook 25 ste aan rand van kraag =147(153;159;159) ste. Br reguit in sierrif vir 4 cm en eindg met ‘n RK ry. Vlg ry (knoopsgat): Rif 28 ste, h/af 3 ste, rif 15 ste, h/af 3 ste, rif 15 ste, h/af 3 ste, rif tot end. Vlg ry: Rif, h/aan 3 ste oor elke knoopsgat. Br reguit tot strook 10 cm lank is, eindig met ‘m VK ry, h/af alle ste lossies. Linker Voorrandstrook: Br soos vir regter voorrandstrook, maar sonder knoopsgate. Werk synate toe.Werk epoulette op skouernate vas. Werk knope aan.

 

ENGELS

MATERIALS:

MEASUREMENTS:
To fit bust: 82(87;92;97)cm.
Actual all round measurement of garment at shoulders: 86(92;98;104)cm.
Length to shoulder: 38(38;40;40)cm.

THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN FOR THE SMALLEST SIZE, WITH THE LARGER SIZES IN BRACKETS; WHERE ONLY ONE FIGURE IS GIVEN, IT APPLIES TO ALL SIZES.

TENSION: SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME, CHECK TENSION.
22sts and 30 rows = 10cm over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.

For best results it is essential to obtain the correct tension. If there are too few sts on test swarch, use thinner needles; if there are too many sts, use thicker needles.

SINGLE RIB PATTERN:

1st row: RSF, k1, *p1, k1, rep from * to end.

2nd and every foll row: Work sts as facing (= k the k sts and p the p sts).

FANCY RIB PATTERN:

1st row: RSF, k3, *p3, k3, rep from * to end.

2nd and every foll row: Work sts as facing (= k the k sts and p the p sts).

STOCKING STITCH:

1st row: RSF, k.

2nd row: P.

BACK:
Using 4mm needles cast on 153(159;171;177)sts and cont straight in fancy rib patt (SEE STS USED) for 10cm ending with a WSR.  Now SHAPE SIDES: Cont in st st, dec 1 st (= work 2tog) at each end of every foll 4th row 10 times, then at each end of every foll alt row 19(19;21;21) times = 95(101;109;115)sts.  Cont straight and when work measures 38(38;40;40)cm from beg ending with a WSR, SHAPE SHOULDERS: Cast off 8(9;10;11)sts at beg of next 4 rows, then 8(9;11;12)sts at beg of foll 2 rows = 47sts.  Cast off rem sts for back neck opening.

RIGHT FRONT:
Using 4mm needles cast on 30(33;39;42)sts and work in st st SHAPING SIDE EDGE as folls: Dec 1 st at beg (= side edge) of every foll 4th row 10 times, then at beg of every foll alt row 19(19;21;21) times.  AT THE SAME TIME, SHAPE FRONT: After casting on, work 2 rows st st thus ending at front edge.  RSF, cast on 10sts at beg of next row, 8sts at same edge of foll alt row, 2sts at beg of every foll alt row 5 times, 1 st at beg of every foll alt row 6 times, then 1 st at beg of every foll 4th row 3 times.  When front shaping is complete, cont in st st keeping front edge straight but still shaping sides and when work measues 25(25;27;27)cm from beg ending with a WSR, *SHAPE NECK: Cast off 6sts at beg (neck edge) of next row, 2sts at same edge of every foll alt row 4 times.  When all shapings are complete [= 24(27;31;34)sts], cont straight until work measures 38(38;40;40)cm from beg ending at side edge (= RSR for right front and WSR for left front), then SHAPE SHOULDER: Cast off 8(9;10;11)sts at beg of next and foll alt row, work one row, then cast off rem 8(9;11;12)sts to complete shoulder slope.

LEFT FRONT:
Using 4mm needles cast on 30(33;39;42)sts and work in st st SHAPING SIDE EDGE as folls: Dec 1 st at end (= side edge) of every foll 4th row 10 times, then at end of every foll alt row 19(19;21;21) times.  AT THE SAME TIME, SHAPE FRONT: After casting on, work one row st st thus ending at front edge.  WSF, cast on 10sts at beg of next row, 8sts at same edge of foll alt row, 2sts at beg of every foll alt row 5 times, 1 st at beg of every foll alt row 6 times, then 1 st at beg of every foll 4th row 3 times.  When front shaping is complete, cont in st st keeping front edge straight but still shaping sides and when work measures 25(25;27;27)cm from beg ending with a RSR, work as for right front from * to end.

EPAULETTES (Make 2):
Using 4mm needles cast on 13sts and work in single rib patt for 8cm ending with a WSR.  Next row, buttonhole row: Rib 5sts, cast off 3sts, rib 5sts.  Next row: Rib, casting on 3sts over buttonhole.  Now SHAPE POINT: Dec 1 st at each end of next and every foll alt row 6 times in all = 1 st, fasten off.

TO MAKE UP:
Sew shoulder seams.  COLLAR: Using 4mm needles, pick up and k35sts up right front neck opening, 47sts across back neck and 35sts down left front neck opening = 117sts.  Cont straight in fancy rib patt (beg with p3) until collar measures 10cm ending with a WSR, then cast off all sts loosely RW.  RIGHT FRONT BAND: RSF, using 4mm needles pick up and k122(128;134;134)sts EVENLY all around bottom and front edge and 25sts along collar edge = 147(153;159;159)sts.  Cont straight in fancy rib patt for 4cm ending with a RSR.  Next row, buttonhole row: Rib 28sts, cast off 3sts, rib 15sts, cast off 3sts, rib 15sts, cast off 3sts, rib to end.  Next row: Rib, casting on 3sts over each buttonhole.  Cont straight until band measures 10cm ending with a WSR, then cast off all sts loosely RW.  LEFT FRONT BAND: Work as for right front band but omitting buttonholes.  Sew side seams.  Sew cast on edges of epaulettes to shoulder edges.  Block garment to measurement, cover with a damp cloth and allow to dry.  Sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes on front and shoulders.
